Hi, i am currently in Phuket and I need to extend mr TR Visa soon. Does anyone know if i need to proof flight back to germany for extension of either regular  1 month extension or 60day Covid extension?

No proof of flight required. I got a 30 day extension after my in Initial 60 days and can go back to get a Covid extension until end of May. This was all done at Phuket town immigration as Patong immigration can’t issue extensions right now

I got a 60d extension for my first extension of SETV. Immigration Office didn’t ask for proof of return flight to UK. However different Immigration Offices seem to apply the rules differently so if you want to be sure just go and ask at your local Office.

Is this your first extension after the initial 2 months? I ask because the policy is 1 month extension but I have heard of people getting 2 months. Interested to hear people’s feedback?

it's first the 60 day covid extension is unlimited as long as the program is running which is afaik until 31 march so technically you can stay at least until 31 may.

But i think the Covid extension is more expensive so i just do the normal one first

you are confused. ALL extensions in thailand are the same price 1900baht no matter how long they're issued for ;)
