I’m flying back in to Thailand on my DTV tomorrow. Do they want to see a booked exit flight out after the 180 days on arrival? Has anyone been asked to show this? Ofcourse I will leave when need to but haven’t booked anything yet. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a DTV visa, many travelers report they were not asked to show a booked exit flight. Comments from users indicate that while some had their exit travel documents ready, it was not required by immigration officials upon entry. If queried, travelers can simply state their intention to leave overland, although this is also not commonly enforced. It's suggested to have certain documents, such as proof of sufficient funds, just in case.

I entered Thailand over a dozen times last year, BKK & CNX, and haven't been asked about onwards flights. Sometimes I already had one booked, other times I didn't but could easily book one on the spot if directed to by the IO.

I was asked on 17 Dec if I had the required

baht, and as I pulled my phone out to show the IO she just handed me my passport back and ushered me on.

No..just tell them you are leaving overland if they ask, which they won't.

I've been through both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang in the last 4 months and wasn't asked about onward/exit travel.

Dunno but I wasn't asked. In Narita they asked if I had a flight out of Thailand and I said Yes but they don't bother looking.

I had the documents ready but wasn't asked. I entered through Suvarnabhumi around 5 days back. It's the safer bet though.

Keep your TDAC updated and printed visa copy handy.
