I have a DTV Visa and will be arriving into Thailand in November.
I do not have a return/departing ticket booked as I didnโt need to have or prove a return flight as part of the DTV application process.
Am I going to run into any issues at immigration when arriving in Thailand? Or does having a DTV exclude that requirement?
Many ๐ thx

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about potential issues at Thai immigration upon arriving with a DTV Visa without a return ticket. Responses indicated that while airlines may have policies regarding return flights, immigration does not require a departing ticket if a valid visa is held. It was advised to be prepared to explain the DTV Visa at the airline or immigration if needed.
Normally airlines have issues over 60 days without a visa but with a visa should not be any issues. Don't think they care about what type of visa really
Immigration doesn't need a departing ticket. The airline might ask, but you show them proof of your 5 year visa and you'll be fine. It's a new visa, so you might need a supervisor and/or be prepared to explain it.
Probably fine. But I'm not sure because the DTV is so new that the airlines might not know how to handle it either. If you can get on your flight you'll be fine.
