Hi! Just wondering if anyone returj flight is needed when coming out to Thailand with the DTV visa? I've not seen this anywhere but a friend who lives in Thailand said they needed a return flight to their home incase they get rejected and have to go back?

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), travelers typically do not need a return flight. Multiple users confirmed that neither immigration authorities nor airlines generally request a return ticket for DTV visa holders, as the visa allows for a stay of up to 180 days. However, there may be instances where airlines are unclear on these requirements, prompting them to ask for a return flight. Overall, a one-way ticket is considered acceptable.

Should not need one. Immigration will not ask. Airline might as they do not know enough about the DTV but it is not usual.
