Hey everyone!

I was wondering, if you paid for a visa extension and got a stamp till Oct 11th, but amnesty just passed till the 31st of Oct, do you still have to go back to immigration and get a stamp if you plan to leave at the end of the month?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether someone with a visa extension stamp until October 11 must visit immigration again after a new amnesty was announced extending the stay until October 31, especially if they plan to leave before this date. Comments emphasize the importance of the expiration date on the current stamp, suggesting that if leaving before that date, no action is needed, but if leaving after, one should go back for an updated stamp.

WAIT until the date on your stamp to go back.

Yes...go back and get the updated stamp Nov 30...since you paid 1900 baht for your extension...And you applied for the extension Before Sept 26 deadline....I also have an " under consideration" stamp which requires me to return to immigration In Person on Oct 11......then get my Visa stamp Nov 30

If you are leaving BEFORE the date on your current "under consideration" stamp you just leave. BUT if you are leaving AFTER the date on it you GO to the immigration office and get the second stamp.

is correct the online booking appointment system for Muang Thong Thani is back up and running. You should make an appointment for the return date on your under consideration stamp IF you can.

do you need to make an appointment online?

If you have an under consideration stamp, I recommend going back to the local immigration and "closing the loop"

You can not use a different immigration office to close the loop
