Do people who get covid extension on tourist visa need to do notification of stay every 90 days ? Or if I come to the immigration to extend my stay due to covid it is equivalent?
Thanks a lot !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses whether individuals who receive a COVID extension on their tourist visa in Thailand are required to complete the 90-day notification of stay. It points out that the necessity for such notifications may depend on the specific visa category and how the extensions of stay are processed.
Bangkok, no problem at all just fill the form and wait in line for your turn.

In the reason you may write "extension due to covid-19" I think they usually give you document where you might check the box "my embassy doesn't issue letters of support" or something like that
one more question if you don't mind: did they ask for a reason for the extension (can't fly back home etc.)? As it officially is a covid extension, after all...

I believe your 90 days re-sets with each extention of stay.
wrong. Extensions and 90 days are completely separate and often don't line up. If the immigration officer is feeling generous, they can do a new 90 day report for you during your extension, but it's not required of them.
That's for people with yearly extentions of stay! The OP is talking about tourist visa/covid extentions, I dont know anyone who has done a 90 day report on those. Im sure they re-set with each extention.
sorry but you're wrong. 90 day report and extensions are separate 100% of the time and you can find reports of people getting fined for not doing their 90 day report on Covid extensions in the past. It's hit or miss on offices that do and don't require it.
There was a month last year where someone posted about getting fined almost every day.
