TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa in Thailand, it is advisable to indicate a return home date that is less than 180 days from your entry date. Suggestions from community members include using a date like 175 or 179 days, as these are more likely to align with the conditions of your visa and the maximum duration stated on your entry stamp. It is also noted that you can extend your stay in-country beyond 180 days.
I would advice to put less than 180, i did 179. No idea why they ask it. Maybe if you put 40 they grant you TR instead becausw its enough? 😅 who knows, this is thailand
