TLDR : Answer Summary
You typically do not need to apply again for a Muay Thai course if you have already received a DTV visa, which is valid for 5 years. Once you have the visa, it's generally expected that you can continue your training without needing to re-enroll in the course each time you return to Thailand. However, it may be beneficial to maintain documentation of your past training and your intent to continue training to avoid any potential questions upon re-entry.

A 6 month course gets you a 5 year visa. This has been the case since July 2024 even though there's many bored farang pensioners praying it changes.

By current official terms on the Dtv it's 5 year validity and I don't think you need to keep applying for different soft power courses after you have it. But then nobodies sure of that long term I guess as it's never made sense to give a 5 year visa for three months soft power courses lol. But personally i think your 100% fine once you have it and their probably more bothered about you having the funds etc

From what I've read the visa is valid for 5 years and you shouldn't need to however it may be prudent if you're going to train anyway to book the course - and carry proof of your past training and future intention to train - in case you get asked about it.
