I work in Thailand and have a multiple entry visa. I am planning a trip abroad for about 10 days during the first week of June and will be coming back to Thailand. On my reentry, do I need to purchase COVID insurance apart from Thailand Pass? I am covered by AIA insurance, and this does not cover COVID insurance. I also have Social Security covered, but as am not sure, someone with first hand knowledge would be helpful.
TLDR : Answer Summary
If you plan to reenter Thailand after a trip abroad, you need to register for a Thailand Pass that includes a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and an insurance policy covering COVID-19. Your existing AIA insurance does not cover COVID-19, so you might need to purchase additional COVID insurance. Also, being covered by Social Security while working in Thailand may provide you with some health coverage, but it's essential to check the specifics of your policy.
