[Covid19 insurance]
Hi,
We are travelling next Friday to Thailand and are both covered with CIGNA insurance. Do we have to ask our insurance for a certificate stating the coverage of Covid or showing our ID cards in the Phuket airport is enough? Or would you advise buying an insurance for the duration of stay on SingaporeAirlines website?
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers to Thailand must obtain a Thai Pass that requires proof of Covid insurance covering at least USD 50,000. It's advisable to ask your insurance provider, Cigna, for a certificate confirming your Covid coverage before traveling. Alternatively, a new insurance policy can be purchased through Singapore Airlines, but having the certificate is crucial for entry.
