I have a complicated covid insurance question.

I departed Thailand in Feb this year and would like to return in June for 2 or 3 Months .

I have a multiple entry visa valid until 17 Nov 22 . I am fully vacc , and will need Thai pass . My problem is my covid insurance papers are in Thailand and I doubt I can get them sent to me .

My question is will I have to show covid insurance paper when I return in June ? ,or should I purchase another insurance which may be expensive as I am over 76 .

Has anyone had this problem ? Thank you Ian

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is unsure if they will need to show COVID insurance papers upon returning to Thailand with a multiple entry visa, as their insurance documents are currently in Thailand. Comments suggest that the Thailand Pass may require insurance validation, but it is expected to stop by June 1st. Alternatives include contacting the insurance company for copies or purchasing new coverage. It's noted that insurance is generally still required for entry even if the Thailand Pass is removed.

I think you have travel insurance or not because it can be confirmed to enter Thailand without you needing to look for a new type of insurance.

Even if by (June or after) the Thai pass could be removed, insurance can still be requested

Which multiple entry visa do you have? Because if it's the OA you'll need to show your insurance for that visa every time you enter the country.

Presumably you had your Covid insurance papers emailed to you as a JPEG or PDF so it will still be in your inbox?

If it isn’t, just request that it be resent to you.

However, this all presupposes that it is valid because from my own experience, just recently returned from Oz the longest policy available was for three months.

If the Thailand Pass is still in place when you apply for it you will need to attach the file

Can't you just contact your insurance company?

Supposedly from June 1st ThailandPass is set to stop. No idea as yet if it will.
