Hi everyone, travelling from to UK to Thailand early March and have our travel insurance in place with Aviva. It covers medical up to to £10m and specifically covid. Is this enough for entry or we still need to get the thai covid insurance? Many thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler questions whether their existing travel insurance with Aviva, which covers medical expenses up to £10 million including COVID-19, is sufficient for entry into Thailand, or if Thai-specific COVID insurance is needed. Responses suggest that coverage needs to explicitly state at least USD 50,000 for COVID treatment to meet Thai requirements. Some recommend switching to Thai AXA insurance for easier compliance.

As long as it specifically says it covers at least USD50k for covid treatment then it will be fine.
