Hey everyone, I recently applied for the dtv visa and I got approved. Now I need to apply for my spouse, my question is do I need to provide financial proof for her that she has 500,000 baht?

If yes, would my personal bank account work if I have 1m baht and I write a letter sponsoring her fully for any financial needs? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the financial proof required for their spouse's dtv visa application after their own approval. The responses indicate that requirements can vary by embassy, with some requiring a separate financial proof of 500,000 baht while others might accept a sponsorship letter accompanied by funds from the primary applicant’s account.

These are the general requirements, when you fill in passport nation and current location, the e-visa system directs you to the embassy/consulate that handles our area. Contact them and ask. Where are you by the way?

That’s going to be dependent on the embassy you are using. Some require separate funds some just require sponsorship letter from you.

Thank you for you reply. How do I know the embassy requirements if I’m applying online? Does it show when I start the application?
