TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for the DTV workcation visa in Thailand, you might need to provide both a bank account balance of 500,000 THB and proof of income. However, some users have reported being approved with just evidence of remote work and no formal proof of income, which indicates there may be some flexibility in the requirements.
I can confirm that it's not true you need to show income. I've just been approved without it. However I provided proof of viable remote work with evidence of strong commercial interest (but no business registration etc)
Anonymous participant 562 The need to show income is embassy specific. Taipei requires evidence of income for Soft power applicants as well as Workcationers. Many embassies want to see income on bank statements and will request income evidence if not provided.
