What are the requirements for maintaining the minimum 500,000 THB in a Thai bank account for visa applications?

Guys, I see a lot of confusion about this: do you have to have the minimum 500,000 THB for at least 1 month? 3 months? or 6 months? I can prove a good flow of income for the last 2 years. But 5 months ago I made an investment and I no longer had that minimum amount. However, I have had at least 500,000 baht in the bank for exactly 3 months, and now I have even more. Do you think I could have a problem because 4 months ago I did not have the minimum?

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is confusion regarding the required duration for maintaining a minimum bank balance of 500,000 THB for Thai visa applications. Some expats suggest that the requirement may vary by embassy. One person reported successfully applying after only holding the minimum amount for three months, while another advised maintaining six months of bank statements for safety.

Check with the embassy. I applied in Hanoi and sent in 6 months of statements to be safe

It depends on the embassy you apply at. I deposited the money from my business account to my personal account 2 days before I applied, and transferred it all back in 5 days when it was approved. That was at DC embassy in the US.

Anonymous participant Laos you need 500k banked for 3 months and 6 months of statements submitted. Vietnam, no minimum time for the 500k to be deposited, 6 months of statements.
