I have a DTV, do I have to leave the country to apply with my husband as a spouse? Any experience would be lovely, I didn’t find anything about it. 🙏

Your husband needs to leave Thailand when applying for himself as an individual or a dependent but you don't need to leave Thailand. If you really want to accompany your husband, you can follow him. That's what I understand the current DTV rules and regulations. Thank you very much. 🙂

You don't need to be with your husband. He just needs to upload your issued DTV as part of his application.

The person needing to get a DTV can not be in the country to apply. You can leave with him if you wish but if he is applying for his he has to leave the country.

Most people goto Cambodia for 2 weeks to wait for it they have a consulate there
