Hi I have non-O visa extension question - I have a 90 day e-visa from the UK (guardian visa as my son is in schook), to extend this do I need to have a thai bank account with a minimum amount deposited? And if so how do I go about opening a thai bank account?
The bank aren't happy with the stamp that is in my passport but I'm not clear on what the problem is - can I do online anywhere? Any advice welcome!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your Non-O visa as a guardian of a child in school, you need to have a Thai bank account with a deposit of at least 500,000 Thai baht in your name. It is recommended to maintain this amount in the account for at least one month prior to your visa extension application. If the bank is hesitant due to the stamp in your passport, consider visiting different banks until you find one that will allow you to open an account. Online banking options may also be limited, so be prepared for in-person visits.
