Hi, just checking when applying for the tourist visa I usually only book a flight ticket as the proof of leaving Thailand after the 60-90 days are up, is it okay to book a bus out of Thailand as part of the proof instead of a flight or do they only like the flights out as proof?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a tourist visa to Thailand, a bus ticket can be used as proof of onward travel instead of a flight ticket. Comments from other users indicate that there are no specific restrictions requiring flights, and a bus ticket should be acceptable as it demonstrates your intention to leave Thailand.

I would imagine a Bus ticket should be fine. . It's proof of your onward travel and leaving Thailand.. I've never heard of any restrictions on how you should travel.

You need to proof onward travel, a bus ride to outside Thailand would be okay.

Glad to hear that Robert, as I've heard often, that bus tickets aren't acceptable to airlines.
