Thanks for allowing me to join the group.

I have I hope a simple question to anyone who can help.

I have visited Thailand a few times for 30 days.

Now I need to apply for a 90 day visa.

The question is do I need to book a flight before applying for a visa. Also do the Thai council need bank statements.

I intend to go to Hull in person and apply.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a 90-day visa to Thailand and whether they need to book a flight or provide bank statements prior to application. Responses clarify that a typical tourist visa is 60 days, but it can be extended by 30 days or a Non-Immigrant O Visa may be obtained for 90 days. Additionally, it is mentioned that it is advisable not to book a flight until the visa is confirmed and that detailed requirements for the application can be found on the Hull embassy website.

A single entry tourist visa SETV is a 60 day visa - not 90 day. You can add a 30 day extension at a Thai Immigration office for 1900 baht. With meeting requirements you may be able to get a single entry Non Immigrant O Visa 90 days.

. For a long holiday, ie 90 days, your best bet is a single entry tourist visa giving you 60 days that you can extend for a further 30 days. No finances needed at Hull, just the completed app form copy of your passport mainpage, 2 passport photos and the fee, which I think is £25. Super easy at Hull.

It depends what you are basing your application on. The Hull website lists everything you need for the different catagories of single entry non imm visas.
