TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) for Thailand, you are not required to have accommodation booked for your entire stay. Generally, you only need to show proof of accommodation for your first night or provide a letter from a friend if you are staying with them. However, the specific requirements can vary by consulate; some may request proof for a minimum of several days.

It makes a difference what consulate you're applying at..
Some say for the whole duration (like the consulate in KL). Penang wants at least 5 to 7 days. others only need a few days.

They ask for the address of where you are staying. And for us - that is the night of arrival in Bangkok only

No, just first night or letter from a friend if you are staying with them.

That's great - though it says are you going on anywhere after first hotel - do I just leave it as no?
