Hello everyone, just had a question and was wondering if anyone could advise please.

Wanting to apply from the embassy in London, re the bank statements. Is it six months worth of statements or just one recent statement dated within six months showing the required amount please?

Sorry if that’s a stupid question & thank you in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa from the embassy in London, it's generally advisable to submit the most recent six months of bank statements. However, one recent statement indicating the required amount may also suffice for approval. To avoid possible delays, it might be beneficial to include several statements, especially if applying under specific conditions such as workcation.

Best to provide the most recent 6 months. If over a week old, I would add a screenshot with your current balance. If applying under workcation, you should highlight income receipts on the statements.

One recent statement with the 500k has been suffice to get approvals. Can be asked to provide more statements so maybe best to add several more to avoid a delay.
