I’ve not even started applying yet, I’m just looking for some help, I’m based in UK and we have the money in the account to demonstrate the 500k baht, do they focus more on the money or the job element on the application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa to Thailand, both financial stability and employment details are crucial components of the application. It is important to demonstrate a minimum balance of 500,000 baht in your account, along with providing relevant job documents, such as a letter from your employer or a contract. The process may vary slightly depending on the embassy location, with the London embassy noted for its efficiency in processing these applications.

Both are important for the workcation option. London is a good embassy to apply from, as many posts show. If you have the financials and job you should be fine.

Both. They asked me for a CEO letter and I had already given a contract with the same details.

For the money they want to see a closing balance of 500,000+

I put 650,000 in on the morning of my application in the UK and was approved, prior to that the closing balance was low
