I am now on ED visa. My wife and kid will visit me in coming June on tourist visa and they will stay with me in my rented apartment for one and half month and then return. Should I ask my landlord to submit TM30 on my wife name for the duration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You should request your landlord to file a TM30 for your wife and child during their stay, as it is theoretically required for visitors staying at your rented apartment. However, if they are not planning to apply for an extension at the immigration office, there may be no negative consequences for not filing it.
In theory yes, they should have a Tm30 filed on them. BUT if they are not going to the immigration office for an extension there is no negative repercussion of not filing one
sorry for jumping in . I was going to post a similar post . So when my daughter and two grandkids visit in July . They are staying with us at first then they are travelling around . I don’t need to worry about a TM 30 for them . Thanks

Thanks . That’s great they are staying with us for around 10 days then for the rest of their tourist visa they are traveling around . Just wasn’t sure and have meant to ask the question myself .
as I said if you're not taking them to the immigration office to get an extension using the address where you live, while technically you do need to file a TM30, there is no way they'd know seeing as they're not getting anything from your immigration office
