TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a UK passport, you do not need to apply for a visa to re-enter Thailand for a 2-week holiday, as you will be granted a visa exemption allowing a stay of up to 45 days upon entry.

How long do you intend to stay as that is what determines if you should have a visa?

How many times have you been to Thailand in the last year? Some officers are making it difficult if you’ve been in & out this last year or 2 on TR & I personally have had issues.

If you have a UK passport you'll be fine entering visa exempt with no visa and you'll be stamped in for 45 days.
