I've gotten some contrary info. I am in my first year of my Non-Imm OA METV. I'm from the USA. In my first year I do NOT have to apply for a reentry visa when traveling outside of TL... correct?? All my 90 day check ins are up to date. I had a few people tell me I need to apply for a reentry or multiple entry visa before leaving or it will void my visa. But I already have the METV status? Can someone clarify- I don't want to screw things up. I thought I would only need to start applying for reetry visas in my 2nd year.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, an American on their first year of a Non-Imm OA METV, seeks clarification on whether they need a reentry visa when leaving Thailand. They mention that their 90-day check-ins are up to date and express concern over conflicting information received, particularly about the potential voiding of their visa. There is uncertainty on when reentry visa applications are required, with the user believing that they would only need to start this process in their second year.
