Hello everyone,

For those who have applied for a DTV visa in Laos, do we need to apply first for the DTV holder and then for the dependents, or can we apply together?

The reason I’m asking is to know how long I need to stay there.

In Vietnam, I was told that we first apply for the DTV holder , which takes 5 days, and then an additional 5 days for the dependents.

Also, regarding the costs, do we pay for the dependents as well, or just for the primary applicant?

You pay the fee for each person, as they are different applications. I believe the main applicant applies first, then the dependents, but it might vary by embassy. Since the depends approval is based on the primary, do you want to submit the fees all at once and risk losing all the funds?
