For those who have applied for a DTV visa in Laos, do we need to apply first for the DTV holder and then for the dependents, or can we apply together?
The reason I’m asking is to know how long I need to stay there.
In Vietnam, I was told that we first apply for the DTV holder , which takes 5 days, and then an additional 5 days for the dependents.
Also, regarding the costs, do we pay for the dependents as well, or just for the primary applicant?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for applying for a DTV visa in Laos involves first applying for the primary applicant before the dependents. While some commenters suggest applying together, it's generally advised to apply for the main applicant first since the dependents' approval relies on the primary application. Each application incurs separate fees for the main applicant and dependents.
You pay the fee for each person, as they are different applications. I believe the main applicant applies first, then the dependents, but it might vary by embassy. Since the depends approval is based on the primary, do you want to submit the fees all at once and risk losing all the funds?
