TLDR : Answer Summary
When flying into Thailand on a Non-O visa for retirement, it is generally not required to provide proof of an outbound flight. Most responses indicate that travelers with a Non-O visa can enter Thailand without an onward ticket. However, there are exceptions where airline staff may request proof, particularly if they perceive potential immigration issues. It's advisable to check with the airline prior to travel.

I had to show my OA visa to the airline before I could board without an onward ticket.

Walrus Thorn The post is about the need for an outbound flight when on a 90 days Non-O. Not about money.
