What forms do we need to fill out before leaving Thailand on a retirement visa for a trip to Bali?

Hello.

My husband and I came here a month ago on a multiple entry retirement visa.

We’d like to go on A trip to Bali in a few weeks. I read that we need to have some forms filled out before leaving Thailand to make sure our retirement visa will be recognized when we return. Could u please give me some details on that.

Thank u

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is seeking information on requirements for their multiple entry retirement visa before traveling to Bali. Responses indicate a need for clarification on the specific type of retirement visa held, as there are various versions (including Non-O and extensions) that may have different regulations. Generally, with a multiple entry visa, no additional documentation is required before leaving; the user will only need to abide by the 90-day entry stamp regulation.

Kimberly Unger Derksen Depending on how long time you will stay, plan for what to do later. Your husband will be stamped in for another year when enter days before the valid until date on the Visa, you will only get 90 days and no more.

If you plan to stay longer, you need to plan for a solution. Buy a new Non O visa for you or maybe an extension of stay is a way to solve things.

Your husband do 90 days reports, because he can stay for a year for every entry into the kingdom. You only get 90 days for each entry, hence you do not do 90 days reports. Instead you leave Thailand and enter again. The dates on the valid until stamp is valid.

And the confusion goes on, What is a retirement visa, pick your choice as there over 5 different visa called the same. Sorry but please show us a picture of the visa inside your passport and inside your husband passport to find out what visa you have and to give you a correct answer. Yes, some answers above are correct if you have 1 of the 5 they think you have, if you have one of the other 4, it could be a total different ball game. Thanks and please blank out the private data of the passport.

Thanks, the same as for your husband. You both can go as much as you like to visit other counties and come back till 30 May 2020. Only difference is that you get 90 days of stay and your husband gets 1 year of stay due to the -A on his visa. No need for documents or reporting where ever before you leave. On return check the data stamps, special for your husband when you get the passport back, mistake is easily made.

What kind of visa or extension you really have? Non O-A / Non O multiple (very rare) or extension? If First two you got from consulate, better to mention valid until date. If Last one you got immigration office and you get only one stamp fromI O?

What you really need is vary based on those information.

Like I said if you both leave and re enter just before your visas final enter by date you will get an extra 90 days and your husband will get another year.

If you or your husband want to leave and re enter on those stamps after your visas last entry by date then you’ll need re entry permits.
Paul *********
Ok so you can stay 90 days per entry. Your husband can travel with you and he will get a year stamped on re entry and you will get 90 days

If you have a non O multiple entry visa from a embassy outside Thailand then you only get 90 days

so I have to leave every 90 days? I was told I just had to report to immigration, not leave.
Paul *********
If you both leave and re enter before the visas last enter by date, you’ll get 15 months out of your visa and your husband will get 2 years.
Paul *********
Ok so your husband gets stamped in for a year on each entry and you will get stamped in for 90 days.

You can both leave as many times as you like in the year the visas valid. Your husband can do 90 day reports at your local immigration office. You have to leave before 90 days are over.

If you have a multiple entry visa you don’t need anything. You’re only stamped in for 90 days on each entry.

You said it’s multiple entry right?

If that’s the case you can only say for a maximum of 90 days per entry.
