TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) from London, you do not need to show an exit ticket after your initial 60 days. Instead, you are required to demonstrate a return or onward flight within the validity period of the visa, which is typically 8 months. Some users have confirmed that they've successfully applied for the METV without providing a specific exit ticket for their initial entry, as they indicated they could book a flight out of Thailand last minute.

No you don’t. You only need to show a return/onward flight within 8 months. We’ve had 2 back to back METV and showed return flight on application. First one was 5 months, 2nd one was just under 8. We book a flight out of Thailand for our 60 days last minute as we don’t know where we want to go.

No from Hull. Not sure if London is the same. Can you email and ask? We only had accommodation for the first 5 weeks and it was fine. London embassy was much closer for us but Hull was so simple!!!

Was that from London? My accomodation document will show in staying at a condo for the full duration of the METV. So a flight out at anytime within 8 months is defo ok? Thanks

I thought IF you're applying for a 6 month METV that you needed to show several trips both to and from thailand to warrant getting a 6 month METV

He's asking about a first 60 day exit when using a METV when applying in London?

That's why I said I don't know what they want.

How about clarifying what it is you're asking about ?

Are you wanting to know after you have the single entry tourist visa and enter thailand do you need proof of onward travel to get the 30 day extension? If that's what you're asking the answer is NO

But if you're asking something else you need to make the question a little bit clearer to get any answers
