I have a British passport so I should get 30 days on arrival. I’m planning to come for a month in November then go to other countries for 3/4 months then back to Thailand.
I was in Thailand already last month.
Does it matter that I’ve been twice in a year? Or do I just get a new 30 days regardless?

TLDR : Answer Summary
As a British passport holder, you are generally granted a 30-day visa exemption upon arrival in Thailand. However, there are limitations on how many times you can enter Thailand by land; specifically, you are allowed only two land crossings per calendar year. Air crossings, on the other hand, are permitted without a set limit. Therefore, if you are returning by air after traveling to other countries, you should receive a new 30-day entry regardless of your previous visits earlier in the year.
You can do landborder crossings twice a calendar year and unlimited by air when using the Visa Exempt Entry, the free 30 days you get on arrival. Immigration may ask questions if you come in frequently using visa exempt entry at airports.
Depends on how you travel in. If you’ve travelled in via land twice already and plan to do so again, then it’s an issue. As others have mentioned you’re only allowed 2 land crossings. This then reset on the 1st of January (I think). But, you can fly in as many times as you want ... until immigration stop you.
