Hello PTPA. Thanks for accepting my request. I just have a question regarding my visa.

I do have a non B visa from my previous school and I couldn't get a Work permit from my current school because my visa is from my previous school, now my employer wants me to get another non B to savannakhet due to expiring visa. Would it be possible to get another non b in savannakhet? Thank you please share your thoughts. ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs advice about applying for a new Non-B visa in Savannakhet because their current visa is tied to a previous employer and is about to expire. Comments suggest it's possible to obtain a new 90-day Non-B visa by presenting the required documentation at the Thai consulate in Savannakhet.

You could take new documentation to the thai consulate in Savannakhet and get a new 90 day single entry Non-B visa

Face it you're not the first foreigner here who needed to go get a new Non-B visa.

no, it is NOT possible to get even the 7 day extension denied stamp on that original 90 day Non-B. They just don't want to issue them on those visas.

you will have to pay the 500 baht a day overstay fine.

is it possible to get an extension on non B? Yesterday I went to labour to process my workpermit but they've told me I couldn't get a workpermit with the different school name on my non-B. That is why my employer asked me if I can go another non B this Wednesday.

Border bounce, or get an extension before the 25th. Why stay illegally in a country?

Why overstay? Just go on or before the 25th

That's 'fine' as in you will be fined for overstay, not 'fine' as in it will be ok. Why would you want to overstay when you don't have to?

Are you still on the original 90 day entry of the VISA from the first employer OR are you on an extension of stay?
