Sorry, not exactly visa related, but a question about 90 day report.
Very soon i have to do my first 90 day report here in Chiang Mai, i know i have to do the first in person, and i've downloaded the TM47, but i don't have a TM6, i entered over land from Laos and don't believe i was required to complete this form.
Is the TM6 necessary, and how do i get 1?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM6 form is not necessary if you entered Thailand overland from Laos, as it hasn't been needed at land borders since April 2024. When completing your first 90-day report in Chiang Mai, you only need to bring your TM47 form and your passport.

maybe it’s a misspeak or a misprint but my immigration office requires a TM7 which is the application for extension of stay. Is there such a thing as a TM 47?
you can download the TM 47...fill it in and go to te drive trough at immigration together with your passport..it is enough..if you want to be sure, you can always ask inside first, but this should be enough...after the first time you can do the 90 days online
There hasn't been a TM6 Arrival/Departure Card needed at 16 land borders since 15 April 2024 and extended to 30 April 2025. Also, at Airports since July 2022
