TLDR : Answer Summary
No, you do not need a re-entry permit while on the Digital Transformation Visa (DTV) since it is a multiple entry visa. However, there was some discussion about obtaining a re-entry permit if entering Thailand on the last day of visa validity, but clarification indicated that the DTV allows you to remain in Thailand for 180 days without needing additional permits.

If you enter Thailand on the last day of your visa validity you will get 180 days. I think you can get a re-entry permit in this case.

yes you can just like on any other tourist visa. You don’t get any days but it will keep your last 180 days ‘alive’ with a re-entry permit
