ORIGINAL POSTER
Any multiple visa issued by an embassy or outside Thailand is always suggested that the visa holder leave Thailand before the visa stamp expires and then return to Thailand within the next two days or more.

I do not advocate doing the extension inside Thailand because they will require an abundance of paperwork and financial proof.

Unless you apply for a visa in Thailand, you will be able to stay until the expiration date. Then you must apply for a fresh start visa again. There are no single or multiple entries unless you pay the re-entry charge. The scary thing is that there are so many paperwork required (if you do not plan to use an agent) and 3 sets.

Multiple visas from the embassy are much preferable. When your visa is about to expire ... simply exit and return to Thailand; you will receive an additional days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the nuances of managing multiple entry visas for Thailand, particularly the advice to leave and re-enter Thailand before the visa stamp expires instead of extending the visa within Thailand. However, the community responses express confusion and skepticism about the accuracy and clarity of the original message, challenging the notions presented about visa types, requirements for re-entry, and the validity of DTV visas.

Pardon me but I don't understand your Post. What is your question?

What kind of Thai Visa do you have?

What's your passport nation?

I'm IF you have the DTV visa, there's NO requirements for you to have a re-entry permit. The DTV visa is a NJ multiple entry visa good for 5 years Entry into Thailand.

With the DTV visa, there's NO requirement to stay outside of Thailand two days before reentering it to get the new 180 day stamp.

I'm not sure what you're talking about here.

The DTV gives you 180 days per entry. You don't apply for a new visa once you leave Thailand. Your visa is valid for 5 years, with unlimited entries.

Your post is very odd.
