TLDR : Answer Summary
A passport photo is required for your first re-entry from immigration in Thailand. Specifically, a 4x6 cm photo is needed. Additionally, you can have the photo taken at the airport as part of the re-entry process, which is included in the price.

if you do it at the airport the price is 200฿ more and includes the paperwork.

Do it all yourself for 1,000฿, or walk in with your passport only for an extra 200฿ fee = 1,200฿
