I am looking for some work permit advice if possible. Do I need to have my degree certificate apostled before applying for a work permit? I am confused as to what I read online. I am NOT a teacher.

Thanks for any advice

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus in the comments is that you do not need to apostille your degree certificate for a work permit application in Thailand, as apostilles are not recognized in the process. It's also noted that non-teaching positions may not require a degree at all, and generally, you must have a job secured before applying for a work permit.

I did not have to do anything except provide a photo of each degree I have.

No, Thailand doesn't require/accept apostles as they aren't part of that international agreement. I don't believe non-teaching positions require a degree either for a workpermit, could be wrong though

Most teaching positions in Thailand, other than those involving international schools and universities, are a joke though.

They're basically "foreigner monkey" jobs. Jobs where foreigners entertain easily bored Thai children by teaching them a language they'll never use or understand [English]. Thai children use these classes as a chance to goof off or catch up on some sleep.
