Do changes in visa rules affect current visitors in Thailand on a 30-day free entry?

I had that happen also. The website does not do a good job of explaining when the payment has been denied or rejected. So you gotta look at your credit card statement and see if the charge actually went through or not. I had the same thing happened to me twice. Once because I forgot my credit card was locked, and once because my credit card company was blocking the transaction for fraud. Once I unlock it and verify that it was not fraud, I got it through and the application status change from pending payment to processing.
