Do both spouses need to register for classes under the Thai DTV visa, or is one registration sufficient?

We are a married couple do we both have to sign up for classes or just one of us? Thanks for your help.

Also is you get approved, do you have to take the class every year? Or is just one time thing.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For couples applying for the Digital nomad DTV visa in Thailand, only one spouse needs to register for the required soft power activity, while the other can be included based on their marriage. It's generally not necessary to maintain ongoing activity checks after the initial visa approval, but individual financial documentation is still required. If applying for an Education visa, both spouses must apply separately.

Married spouses can normally be included under their spouse’s DTV, but must still document financial means independently, alternatively by providing a sponsor letter. It is normally sufficient to participate in a soft power activity, provided the institution meets the formal requirements and the course has a minimum duration of six months. For ED visa both have to apply individually.

For DTV one of you can sign up to the soft power activity, and the other can get it based on being a spouse, you don't need your own soft power activity.

Currently they don't usually check you have an ongoing activity after the one you got the visa for. Could change in the future though.
