TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the process of applying for a DTV (Digital Visa) together with a spouse. Key insights shared in the comments reveal that you must first have your DTV approved before applying for your spouse's visa, using your visa and marriage certificate as proof. The spouse's visa often gets approved faster than the primary applicant's. The timeline for processing may vary; some users noted it took approximately the same time for both applications. Additionally, both spouses need to be present during the application process.

you apply for your DTV and get it approved THEN you apply for one for your spouse using your visa as proof they can get one for that category (along with the marriage certificate, etc)

The spouse one is usually approved faster than the primary DTV holder's was at most consulates
