Answer summary
The post discusses the inquiry about whether multiple files can be uploaded for each subsection when submitting supporting documents for a visa application in Thailand. The comments provide various experiences related to immigration requirements, particularly the challenges of using 'no book' bank accounts for proof of funds, especially when it comes to meeting the monthly deposit requirements. Just tell SCB that you need last page copy which mentioned Baht 800k+. They will issue that which is acceptable to immigration along with Bank letter

well that's what they're selling. a year ago January 2025 I got my first non-pass book account. then I needed to show funds to immigration and they did not accept this account with no passbook. so I went back to my SCB branch and ask them for a passbook for my account and they required that I renew my non-O visa before they would issue me an account with a passbook. I was not happy with SCB as being an expat giving me an account which did not comply with immigration standards seem to be self-serving for their purposes. they had no response

And how was the situation resolved to the satisfaction of immigration? I assume you were able to get the extension?

I have an SCB account, along with Kbank, and the bookless option is just that, an option that you have to choose.

The unfortunate part is once you opt for the no book account, you can't switch back. I would go to your local branch and speak with them or go by your local immigration office and speak with them.

if this is the way banks are going then I would think that there would be no option for passbooks for new accounts

, that's why it's an option, and not mandatory. It's up to the individual to understand the rules of immigration and make the correct choice.

I personally don't use my SCB account for immigration purposes, so if I switched to an account without a book it wouldn't be an issue.

I had this situation. My work around was to open a passbook account with Krungsri keep my money there for immigration statement purposes, but keep using SCB as my transaction account

This is actually a good question and while not 100% visa related is close enough and could affect enough people to let it on the group.

If SCB has 'no book' bank accounts the problem is how do you show the balance of the account on the day you go to the immigration office to apply for the extension (seeing as you normally do that by updating the bank passbook)

You can certainly show the year transaction detail report <- which the bank prints for you and shows every transaction and the balance on the account from the previous year..

You can also get the bank letter which states the account, your name and the balance the date they issue the letter..

I don't know if doing an ATM withdrawal or deposit the day you apply for the extension will show the balance on the account on the ATM slip.. You might need to go in to the bank and do it at the counter..

There has to be a 'work around' for this though as I would bet more and more banks will switch over from passbook accounts to no book ones

"I don't know if doing an ATM withdrawal or deposit the day you apply for the extension will show the balance on the account on the ATM slip." . . . . . the current account balance of a SCB account, after doing a withdrawal, has always been shown on the ATM slip and will still show

You're right Todd. when I went to Chiang Mai airport immigration and tried to use the funds transferred to SCB in September of 2025 to qualify for my monthly $65,000 baht deposit, the immigration officials did not accept funds from an account that did not have a passbook
