just wondering if anyone has gone to Singapore and applied for singal entry Thai visa and can give approximate turnaround waiting time for same.

(Reason being direct flights to Chiang Rai-Singapore have started and what used to be a well situated region for land border crossings isn't ideal any longer due to new scrutiny measures and extensions flag a closer look at history of using visa exempt provisions)

Do you hold a Singapore Passport?? if you have a Singapore Passport, then why not apply for another type of Thai E–Visa (except DTV E–Visa) as Singapore Passports are exempt from Thai E–Visa Fees (except DTV E–Visa)

(e.g. Singapore Blue IC and Re-Entry Permit Form 7 for Singapore’s Permanent Residents, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Entry pass, Training Employment Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long Term Social Visit Pass, or Professional Visit Pass).

***The Long-term pass must be valid for at least two months, if you have renewed your Long-term pass please submit approval from Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

1.5 Scan the QR code behind the long-term pass to show expiry date and take a screenshot of the full data until card serial number.

1.6 For Permanent Residence in Singapore: Blue Identity Card and Re-entry Permit (Form 7)
