TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the potential issues faced by individuals with many entry stamps in their passport when trying to enter Thailand on a Digital Work Visa (DTV). Some users share that they have been approved for DTV despite numerous entry stamps, while others express concerns about immigration policies, especially regarding passport expiration and the transfer of DTV to new passports. The consensus suggests that while there are anecdotal reports of entry denial, having a valid visa typically prevents such issues, though different immigration officers may have varying approaches.

I was 2024 October until end of June in Thailand with visa exemptions and visa runs and 3 extensions in inmigration. Came back in 2025 October with dtv. No questions asked

I have around 30 entry stamps for Thailand in my passport over the last five years and my DTV still got approved. The very nature of digital working means that people travel in and out all the time. Mine were non consecutive and therefore not Visa runs, they had gaps between the entries because I went to the UK or India or wherever.

If you can't find first person experience about this from non-anonymous profiles, then no. You won't get denied entry if you have a valid visa.

What is a becoming a thing is when someone’s passport expires and then a new one is issued, immigration is not transferring the DTV to their new passport. Depending on the Immigration Officer some people are being denied entry with the DTV and are being stamped in as Visa exempt (even if presenting both passports). Really hope Thailand figures this one out soon.

Why would they approved your DTV in the first place after seeing all your stamps...When they approved your DTV means you are good to go
