Has there been any cases of DTV visa holders being denied entry to Thailand at the Bangkok airports due to a long history of stays in Thailand? Ran a search and couldn’t find anything, which I guess is a good sign

TLDR : Answer Summary
There have been no reported cases of DTV visa holders being denied entry into Thailand due to a long history of stays. Comments suggest that legitimate visa holders are unlikely to face rejection at the border. However, there may be questioning about the purpose of the stay, particularly for those with extensive travel history. Overall, it’s important to take anecdotal advice from online sources with caution.

If you haven't done anything wrong or been blacklisted, there shouldn't be any issues. However, you may still be questioned about the purpose of your stay, just like everyone else.

They would reject the visa first. Very unlikely to reject your visa at the border if legitimate

Sounds plausible, but wrong.

Anonymous participant 740 no, it’s correct. They are very unlikely to refuse entry at the border with a legit visa.

Here's the thing, even if there has been reports what difference is that going to make to anything? You're never really going to know the true reasons why someone would be rejected. Take everything you read online with a pinch of salt. The amount of times I've read in groups and forums someone giving out advice like "I've haven't been to Thailand yet but I've read somewhere that....." Honestly there a lot of dreamers out there which should not be used as a reliable source of information.
