TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day report for a Non-B visa based on employment at a school can potentially be completed online if a TM30 has been filed. However, this depends on the specific immigration office, so it's advisable to submit the application online 14 days prior to the due date. If the application is rejected for requiring an in-person visit, there will still be sufficient time to comply.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Service to get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
It's luck of the draw. Submit online 14 days before your due date and if they deny it with the reason that you must report in person then you'll have plenty of time to do so.
you can do 90 day report at any immigration office, as long as the address matches the last TM30 that was filed.

If you have a filed TM30 then you could possibly find that the TM47 could be done online. It can happen. It’s office specific so I can’t say that you’ll get it to work. Apply 14 days prior and see what happens. If rejected then go in person.
