TLDR : Answer Summary
The ability to complete the first 90-day report for a marriage visa online seems to depend on several factors, including the matching of the TM30 registration to the address used for the online report. While some individuals report success with online submissions, others note that it may require an in-person submission, especially if local practices differ. It is recommended to attempt the online report about two weeks before the deadline, providing time for an in-person option if necessary.

This evening I have just successfully completed my first 90 day report online.

I received an email confirmation with ‘successful notification TM47’ almost instantly. Yayy!! 👍😄

In case it’s relevant, I have a first time, 12 month extension on a Non Imm O Retirement visa, issued at Samut Prakan. It is now 15 days before my 90 day report deadline.

After a week away in Phuket hotels, I returned to Samut Prakan two days ago and I ‘refreshed’ my TM30 yesterday.

Jomtiem said first one needs to be done in person...

I was told by IO the first one needed to be in person. This was five years ago, it may of changed now.

It seems to depend on the province, try about 14 days before the due date so if rejected you still have plenty of time to do it in person

I think as always in Thailand, it depends which IO. As Kool Breeze stated the TM30 has to match your 90 day report online.

I did my first one at Hua Hin with no problem and have seen others are successful too, so it is possible.

It can as long as your current TM30 matches your address. Those having problems also have TM30 issues of not being filed, or the current one not matching the address you use on the 90 day report.

@Kool ******
my TM.30 matched my address, and my online report was still denied. Like a lot of things in Thailand, sometimes it just comes down to luck of the draw too.
