Nobody had problems with entry into Thailand in April, I just checked the calendar and it is 29 Feb today, If you're willing to wait the 31 days of March, it gets April.

Lots and lots of questions that need to be answered.
1. What's your nationality?
2. What's your history in Thailand?
3. If you are currently on an extension of stay, will you get a re-entry permit?
4. Will you enter on a new visa, and if so, what visa will you acquire?
5. How are you planning on re-entering Thailand?

Why would one have trouble reentering Thailand if they have a valid passport ?
Some borders are requiring an overnight stay in Cambodia.
