Answer summary

A multi-entry tourist visa (METV) allows for multiple entries into Thailand without requiring a re-entry visa as long as it is still valid. The validity period of the METV is 6 months from the date it is issued, not the date of your first entry. If you obtained your visa through the eVisa online application, remember to print and keep the confirmation email to show to immigration officials during your re-entries.

IF you have a METV multiple entry tourist visa and its STILL valid, it's a multiple entry Visa and no re-entry permit required.

The METV multiple entry tourist visa is VALID for entries into Thailand for the first 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE IT IS ISSUED.

Not 🚫 the first date you arrive into Thailand.

IF it was issued using the Evisa online application system, be sure to PRINT OUT THE EVISA EMAIL you received... show it to the Thai Immigration Officers upon arrival into Thailand each time.
