TLDR : Answer Summary
If your COVID-19 extension is expiring on March 22 and your flight has been rescheduled to March 24, you have two primary options: First, wait until mid-March to see if the immigration office will grant another extension due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Second, on March 22, you can apply for another extension at the immigration office, which is likely to be rejected, but you would receive a 7-day extension stamp from the date of application.
1. WAIT until around the middle of March, and see if they will extend the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. If they do, then apply for that OR;
2. On March 22rd, go to the immigration office and apply for another extension of stay. It will be rejected, and you will receive a 7 day extension of stay denied stamp. At most immigration offices, the extension of stay denied stamp begins on the date you apply for the stamp.
