Edit: In case it’s helpful to anyone else, I worked my way through four representatives at SafetyWing and got my answer. It appears I will be able to purchase a longer coverage period to cover the length of my full stay in Thailand, so they are working on getting that in place so that I will be able to obtain an amended certificate of insurance. Thanks for everyone’s input.

Has anyone from the US gotten a 60 day Tourist visa or Thai Pass approved using SafetyWing’s Nomad insurance as their insurance? I signed up but it has a 28 day rolling subscription, so only shows 28 days of coverage at a time on the proof of coverage certificate, even though you can keep it for up to 364 days as long as you don’t cancel the coverage. Wondering if Thai authorities are aware of this or if I’ll have issues when applying for visa/Thai pass?

I used SafetyWing for a Thaipass once. But cannot tell you much about dates. I remember in my case the dates on the cover matched what I needed to have.

Been in Thailand a month and yes you have to submit your paid up insurance cover for Thai pass

You don't need insurance for a tourist Visa application.

The only way to find out for sure on the Thailand Pass is to apply and submit the insurance you have. You'll know within a couple of days whether they accepted it or not.

I wonder if it is a new requirement for the tourist visa, because it asked me to upload my proof of insurance when I filled out the visa application a couple days ago.

some visas require insurance. The evisa application is the same for every visa, so there are many things that don't apply when you're doing tourist visa.
