Has anyone used investments as proof of funds? I only keep 6 months worth of money in banks(I have low outgoings), the rest is invested. Just need to know if someone has managed to use proof of capital via investments?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among users indicates that investments such as stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other non-liquid assets are typically not accepted as proof of funds for visa applications in Thailand. It is advised to show liquid assets like cash in a bank account. Some users have successfully used accounts like CDs or high-yield savings accounts, but generally, funds must be readily accessible.
I understand your funds to be liquid. I mixed my currency with tap water, blended it good and marked the jars with the totals. Though, since you're traveling with liquid assets it has to be carried in your checked baggage.
No, you need liquid funds either in current or saving account under your name; not a business account. Nothing else, not even mutual funds, bonds, debentures, shares, crypto, nothing.
